How to Get from Fresno Yosemite International Airport to West Fresno

Fresno Yosemite International Airport is at 5175 East Clinton Way, Fresno, CA 93727. East Clinton Way provides access to the terminal buildings, parking areas and consolidated rental-car facility.

The airport is a practical arrival point for Fresno. It is also described by the airport as the closest commercial airport to Yosemite, Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. The airport lists Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks as 64 miles away and Yosemite National Park as 82 miles away.

The drive from Welcome Inn to Fresno Yosemite International Airport takes about 20 minutes. East Clinton Way is the access road for the terminal and rental-car facility, so follow airport signs toward the terminal when approaching the airport by car.

If you are collecting a rental car, the airport’s in-terminal Car Rental Center is across from baggage claim. Rental-car drop-offs can be made in the adjacent Car Rental Lot. For the return drive, follow airport signs for rental-car returns rather than continuing to the terminal curb.

At FAT, you can arrange a rental car, request a rideshare, take a taxi or contact a shuttle and bus operator. Check the official site before you go for current transportation details and provider information.

Rental cars

Lyft and Uber are authorized to provide rides to and from the airport. Request a ride in either app when you are ready for pickup; the designated pickup and drop-off area is outside the departure doors at Zone B.

For local travel beyond the airport, Fresno transit and driving connections can help you compare ways to get around the city.

Choose your onward transport before leaving the terminal: head across from baggage claim for the Car Rental Center, go to Zone B for rideshare pickup, or check the airline-terminal curb for taxis.

If you need directions or ground-transportation information, the airport Info Center is in the main entrance of the terminal lobby and provides wayfinding assistance, maps and trip-planning help.
